Here’s where things stand.
Can I deploy an application today?
Not yet. Deploy.et is in development. This is a preview of the platform we’re building, and early access will open after deployment, isolation, and recovery testing.
Do you offer object storage?
Yes, it’s part of the initial plan. Every project will be able to create private S3-compatible buckets for uploads, media, and backups. Tools that already work with AWS S3 or MinIO, like the AWS SDK, boto3, rclone, and mc, connect by changing the endpoint and keys. Storage quotas per plan will be confirmed before launch.
How do referrals work?
You get a personal link. A referral counts when someone you invite verifies their account and deploys an app. Once 5 of your referrals are active, your Developer plan (799 ETB / month) is covered. Final terms will be published before accounts open.
Will I need an international card?
The plan is to bill monthly in Ethiopian birr using local payment methods. Supported payment providers will be confirmed before launch. No payments are being collected today.
Are these the final prices?
These are proposed launch prices from our September 2026 strategy. Final quotas, taxes, payment fees, and availability will be confirmed before you subscribe. There is no payment commitment during this preview.
Will the servers be located in Ethiopia?
The initial plan uses rented infrastructure in Europe, with a local billing and support experience for Ethiopian developers. An Ethiopian hosting region is not part of the initial offer. Exact locations will be published before launch.
What can I run on the platform?
Our initial target is Next.js, Node.js, Python applications such as Django and FastAPI, and Docker workloads. Managed PostgreSQL and S3-compatible object storage are part of the initial scope; Redis, workers, and other services will be introduced in stages.
Do I have to prepay for several months?
The proposed paid plans use month-to-month billing, without a mandatory multi-month prepayment. Final cancellation and billing terms will be available before paid service begins.
